I’m excited to see you soon!

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

✦ Location & Entry

Your session will take place at Golden Waxwing Tattoo, which is a private studio located upstairs within Lotus Hair, Body & Soul in downtown Medford. When you arrive, please ring the doorbell and give me a moment to let you in.

Lotus is home to several independent businesses operating collectively under one roof, so you may see a few different names on the doors, you're in the right spot!

✦ Parking

Weekends: Free street parking is available.
Weekdays: I recommend the 6th Street parking garage to avoid parking tickets.

✦ Payment

Your $100 deposit will be applied to your total. Aside from the deposit, payment is preferred in cash and is due at each session. Card payments are accepted with a 3% processing fee. I don’t carry change for cash payments.

Multiple Sessions

For multiple session tattoos, your initial deposit will continue to roll over across sessions and be credited to your final session, as long as there are no violations of the booking policy.

✦ Before your appointment

  • Fuel up
Eat a solid meal within two hours of your appointment, please don’t arrive hungry or under-fueled. I will not tattoo you if you haven’t eaten. This helps to avoid nausea and feeling faint.

  • Clothing
Wear (or bring) clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed, like a tank top for an upper arm or shorts for a leg. Avoid wearing anything you might not want to get ink on.

  • No blood thinners or numbing creams
Please do not take any blood thinners (including aspirin, ibuprofen, or naproxen), ingest excessive caffeine or use topical numbing creams before your appointment unless we’ve discussed it ahead of time.

Optional, but helpful:

  • Hydrate + rest
Stay hydrated the day before and the day of your appointment. Your body handles pain better when it's rested and hydrated. Avoid alcohol or heavy partying the night before.

  • Prep your skin
Moisturize the area you’re getting tattooed daily for the week leading up to your appointment. I recommend Lubriderm or another fragrance-free lotion

  • Guests
You’re welcome to bring one guest (age 16+). Please note there are no in-and-outs during the session, so your guest should be prepared to stay the whole time.

✦ What To Bring

Required:
❏ Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s license or passport)
❏ Payment of choice

Optional:
❏ Water bottle and snack
❏ Headphones, phone charger
❏ Something to pass the time (music, podcast, book)

✦ Need to reschedule?

  • This is a copy of the exact policies you signed and agreed to at the time of booking:

    ✦ WHAT YOUR SESSION INCLUDES

Every session is flat-rate (or falls within a flat-rate range) and includes:

    • Collaborative design adjustments and layout review

    • Full stencil placement and skin prep

    ✦ DEPOSITS

    • Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable to another idea or person under any circumstances. Each deposit includes one reschedule, as long as 72 hours’ notice is given. Additional reschedules will require a new deposit.

    • If something comes up and you need to reschedule, please use the “Make Changes/Cancel” button in your confirmation email. A minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required to transfer your appointment to a new date. Rescheduling with less than 72 hours’ notice will require a new deposit to re-book.

    • Cancellations, no-shows, arriving 15+ minutes late (with no communication), failure to bring a valid government issued ID or arriving with numbing cream/skin damage (bruises, burns, cuts, etc.) to your appointment will result in a forfeited deposit and may not be eligible for rebooking.

    ✦ PAYMENT

Aside from the deposit, payment is preferred in cash and is due at each session. Card payments are accepted with a 3% processing fee.

    ✦ SESSION TIMING

The time listed for your session is an estimate. In some cases, we may finish a bit earlier or run slightly over, but your rate will stay the same. If it turns out we need more than an hour over the original estimate, I’ll check in with you and we’ll adjust the booking if needed.

On the flip side, if your tattoo finishes significantly earlier than expected due to a clear overestimate, I may pro-rate the session accordingly. Either way, I’ll always keep communication open so there are no surprises.

    ✦ MULTI-SESSION PROJECTS

If I indicated you will need multiple sessions, you’re welcome to use your booking link more than once. Please allow at least 3 weeks of healing between appointments.

If your next session is scheduled more than 6 months out, updated pricing may apply.

    ✦ STATE REQUIREMENTS

You must be 18+ with a valid photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, or passport). A Consent Form/Release of Liability will be required to sign in the studio at the time of your appointment per Oregon law. Failure to bring your ID will result in cancellation and deposit forfeiture.

    ✦ RESCHEDULES

Need to reschedule? Use the link in your confirmation email to make changes.

In the event I need to reschedule your appointment, I will provide you with available dates. If you are unable to reschedule, the appointment will be fully cancelled. If you accept the reschedule option, 100% of your deposit will be transferred to the new appointment.

    ✦ MEDICAL & ACCESSIBILITY

Please notify me of any medical conditions, allergies, or accessibility needs in advance.

    ✦ DESIGN POLICY

I’m very fortunate that design concerns are extremely rare. Most of my clients are thorough in their forms and trust my interpretation, which I deeply appreciate. I create each custom piece based on the concept you submit and my signature style, so it’s important that you’ve reviewed my portfolio and are clear about any must-haves or no-go’s in your form.

Designs are shown at your appointment. Minor changes can usually be made on the spot. If major changes or a full redraw are needed and we’re unable to move forward that day, a new appointment and deposit may be required. I don’t send designs in advance, if you’d prefer to preview ahead of time, I recommend selecting one of my pre-drawn designs.
